What a holiday, and what a way to start off a night after being off for over a month. The Team started off by Shawn winning his first ever 600cc micro sprint heat race. It was the first heat of the evening, and Shawn ran a very good clean heat race.
When Shawn got back to the pit, he was very excited and made a comment that this is how fun is supposed to be. He had to pull a pill for the inversion for the feature race.
Shawn pulled pill 12 to start 12th in the 25 lap feature event. He was pretty bummed out with this news. Unfortunatley, the evening got worse.
Shawn ended up starting the 25 lap feature 10th. On the drop off the green flag, two cars got together in front of Shawn, causing one car to flip wildly, and caught up a number of other cars. Shawn got a left rear flat tire. the Team was able to change the tire on the backstretch during the red flag.
Shawn was able to restart the feature, but started in the rear of the field. He started the feature 16th, as five cars were not able to start. He ended up finishing 12th for the event.
As many of you know, Shawn wears his heart on his sleeve, but surprisingly, he was still very excited when the Team packed up to head home. The team will be working on getting the car ready for the next race, which as many of you know with the schedule this year, it could be next week, or next month.
Shawn would like to send a huge “Thank You” out to the man that turns the wrenches on the car, Crew Chief Duane. Shawn would also like to send a “Thank You” out to everyone that has prayed for him and supported him throughout these past couple of months. Without your support and sponsorship, Shawn and the Team would not be able to race. Thanks again!
The Team would like to send Happy 4th of July wishes out to everyone, as we hope you all had a safe and happy holiday.
Shawn would like to dedicate his first ever 600cc micro sprint Heat Race Win to his Daughter, Sapphire Arndt. He sends a huge hug and kiss to you, and he can not wait to see you very soon!
With that being said, this is Matt saying as always, See you at a track in the very near future! So long!

The Team finally made an appearance back at Trail-way Speedway Saturday evening. it has been since the beginning of the season that Shawn raced the 12a there.
The Team was running very late, but did make it to the track in time for warm-ups. The car was a little loose and Duane found the problem as soon as Shawn got back to the pits. The shock on the right rear blew out.
Duane changed the shock and worked on the car set up a little bit. Shawn started 9th in the second heat and finished 9th. In betweeen the heat race and the feature the Team worked a little more on the set up.
Shawn started 18th in the 20 lap feature and finished 17th. Shawn was pleased, although not having the correct shock on hampered his racing ability for the night.
The Teams schedule is up in the air right now, as family matters may be taking place over the next two weekends. Stay tuned, as we find out more we will be sure to post it here first!

Well, we know it has been awhile since we had an update about the Teams racing. Shawn even admitted last evening that he didn’t realize he was not racing for the weeks that he missed.
As it turns out, Shawn was just a tad bit rusty. Shawn started 5th in the first heat race and finished 7th. Shawn started 13th in the feature, and was only able to gain one spot, and finished 12th in the 20 lap main feature.
The Team was very happy with the evening. Shawn, while he took some time off, listened to a lot of his racing friends during the off time, and listened to Duane very intensely, and made a lot of improvements.
“The car, the Team; Duane and Xzander, and myself, we all needed to step back and evaluate where we were and where we would like to be. I am very happy and stoked about the next few weeks, as the three of us are really starting to understand each other much more. We are getting better every time out.”, said Shawn.
The Team will hopefully be at Path Valley Speedway Park again on Friday, May 29, 2009. Thanks for visiting!

After two weeks of not doing anything but attending races and working to get things taken care of on a personal matter, Shawn has announced that the 12a will be back in action starting this week on Wednesday evening. Shawn and Xzander will be piloting the car during a test and tune session being held at Susquehanna Speedway Park.
On Friday evening, the Team will travel back to Path Valley Speedway Park, where Shawn will be working hard to get the 12a back into the top ten in the points standings. After missing two weeks of action, the Team knows that they will have their work cut out for them.
Shawn and the Team would like to extend a huge “Thank You” to everyone that has been understanding and so helpful over the past few weeks. It is without a doubt that without the racing community, Shawn would not be where he is at today.
Shawn took the time off to spend with his son and daughter. He also met and spoke with some of his friends from across the country. It is without a doubt, Shawn has missed driving, but he feels that the time out of the car was needed.
Thank you all again for all of your support in a sport then can literally take the life out of you. The ups and downs in racing are a very trying part of a teams life. See you all at the race tracks. Have a Great week.

As most of you know, Shawn and his family have been going through some very rough times over the past month. The Team will be taking this week off for sure and not racing. They may possibly return to Path Valley next week.
Shawn would like to take this time to thank all of the Teams sponsors and supporters, and also thnak them for their understanding of the events that took place in his life recently.
Shawn would like everyone to know that he is taking his time to spend with his children and attend the bigger shows going on over the next two weeks with them as fans of the sport.
We will keep you posted as to when the 12a will be back racing in the near future. Thank you all again from all of us at Sabko Inc. Racing!

The evening started on a rough note. Shawn pulled pill 32 for heat races. This put him starting near the back of the field to finish 7th.
Crew Chief, Duane Drollinger, made some adjustments to the car for the feature event. Shawn started 13th. Near halfway into the race, Shawn spun out to miss another car, and was sent to the rear. He got the 12a back up to 11th for the finish.
The Team is undecided at this point in time where they may show up next week. Mother Nature may be bringing showers for Friday evenings racing action, so there is talk of possibly racing on Saturday evening instead.
As more news becomes available, we will be sure to post it here. Thanks for visiting!

On Friday evening the team had a pretty good night. Sapphire, Shawn’s daughter, pulled a good pill and had Shawn start on the pole in the second heat race. Shawn finished 3rd.
In the feature, Shawn started the 12a in 5th and finished 10th. Shawn finished the race with a bent tie rod and no brakes due to an accident with 3 laps remaining.
The team plans to be at Path Valley again this coming Friday. Xzander is planning on attending a practice session at Susquehanna Speedway Park on Wednesday evening.
Stay tuned, as news becomes available, we will post it here first!
