Tuesday, July 29th, 2008

On Friday, August 1, the Team is planning on making it’s return to Path Valley Speedway Park with the 12a 600 micro sprint. This will be the first time back on the track since the crash at Shippensburg Speedway, and since the new “things” were completed on the car.

Shawn is excited to get back on the track, and is planning on turning this 12a car over to his son Xzander over the weekend. The Team should finally have the new 12a car next week! We will keep you posted!

The Team has decided not to race this weekend. Instead, they will be attending Williams Grove Speedway as spectators. Shawn will just enjoy not spending all the money as usual, LOL!

Don’t forget to wish him a Happy 35th Birthday if you see him this weekend!!! We will update you next week on where the Team will be racing next! Have a safe and great weekend!

Weekend Racing Schedule Up In The Air.

Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008

With the events that happened to Shawn and the 12a car on Saturday evening, the Team is uncertain at this point in time if the car will be ready for Friday evening at Path Valley Speedway Park. Once the Team started working on it more intensely on Tuesday morning, some other issues were found. We are now in search of parts and having the car fixed so that it is back in better shape then before.

We will make a post here sometime Friday if we will be racing Friday evening. If you do not see an update, the Team has decided to take the weekend off and enjoy going to Williams Grove Speedway on Friday evening to spend the evening with friends and other race teams, and we all know where Shawn will be Saturday evening. Take care, and hopefully I will be told to make the post Friday that we are going racing. I guess time will tell. Thank you for visiting!

July 19 Results from Shippensburg Speedway

Sunday, July 20th, 2008

The car is definetly a different car and has a lot more horsepower since the work was all done this week. When Shawn went out for warm ups the car was tight. Shawn said, “Wow, this car is hooked up!”

Shawn started on the pole in the second heat. He fell back to fifth position to still qualify for the feature. He missed a gear on the start, and until the heat built up in the tires, he was a little loose.

While waiting for the feature, the team did a few minor adjustments. Shawn started 17th and moved up to 14th when he was hit in the left rear tire and split the rear axle in two. Shawn was credited with finishing 22nd in the feature.

The car is already somewhat back together, and the team will be working very hard to get this car ready for Friday evening when they travel to Path Valley Speedway Park. Shawn will also be celebrating his 35th birthday at the track! The team will be off on Saturday evening for Shawn to enjoy his birthday party with his family and friends. Have a safe and great week, and see you at the track!

Path Valley Results, July11, 2008

Saturday, July 12th, 2008

Shawn started on the pole in the first heat race. He had a chain guard break and tear up some things on the car, and did not finish.

Shawn started 19th in the feature event. The first five to ten laps the car was real good. At lap 12 the car engine didn’t seem to have power and Shawn pulled in on lap 18. He was credited with a final finish of 17th.

After the race, they had some people look over the car and it will be going to get some work done on the engine and other componets this week.

Our next race is scheduled for Saturday, July 19 at Shippensburg Speedway. See you at the races!

SSP Speedweek Results

Friday, July 4th, 2008

The 12a team had a rough evening. The car during warm ups ran great for one and a half laps and just lost power the rest of the time out. In the heat race, Shawn started on the pole, and once again the car lost power, and was forced to the C Main. While lining up for the C Main, the car shut off going down the backstretch and never refired. Shawn, Duane, Xzander, and all the guys at Hyper can’t fint the issue. It will be a long week at the shop, as the team is planning on rewiring the entire car.

If the team can get the car ready in time, they are planning on racing Friday evening, July 11 at Path Valley Speedway Park. Thanks for visiting our site, and see you at the races!
