The evening found 94 cars at Licoln Speedway for the second night of racing. Shawn started 7th in the fifth heat. He finished seventh. This put Shawn in the “D” Main.

In the “D” Main, Shawn started 15th and ended up 14th due to the front left tire coming off the bead. This ended the evening for Shawn.

His words were, “I was just coming here to get more seat time. I never imagined that I’d make the “D” Main. I was thinking the “E” Main, and my night would be over. I’m happy with the results.”

The teams next race will be Thursday, July 3 at Susquehanna Speedway Park. Racing starts at 7:00 PM. See you at the track.

In only his third start in the 600cc micro this season, Shawn gets his first top ten finish!

Things were not looking so good after the heat race last evening at the track. Shawn had burnt up the front left spindle and hub and took a wild ride into the turn two infield. He was taken to the pits and Xzander and Shawn went to town getting the car apart to see what all it needed.

Shawn was able to borrow a front left spindle assembly and was able to start the feature. He started eleventh. By lap four he was up to ninth, and by lap twenty-five made it to seventh. Shawn was very proud of making the show and finishing in the top ten.

The team will travel to Lincoln Speedway this evening for PA 600 Speedweek. As of the release of this article, the show is still on schedule. Gates open at 5:00 and racing action starts at 6:00.

Sabko, Inc. Racing is planning on the following events over the PA 600 Speedweek. The team will be at Shippensburg Speedway on Saturday evening, which is not a Speedweek show.
Sunday evening, the team will travel to Lincoln Speedway, which is a Speedweek show. On Thursday evening, you will find the team at Susquehanna Speedway Park for another Speedweek show.

Shawn was in the 12a 600cc micro sprint again last evening at Path Valley Speedway Park. The night started out on a pretty bad note. Shawn went out for warm ups and on his second time around the track the car shut off. He was pushed back into the pits and everyone, including non team members pitched in and help Shawn find the issue. It was a wiring issue on the back of the dash and also a blown fuse. The team would like to thank Tim Glatfelters Dad for all his help, and also the 18X team for the fuse.

Shawn was scheduled to start in the first heat race in the ninth position due to being a rookie in this car. He ended up finishing sixth. When Shawn got back into the pits he was excited due to the fact that he thought that the top six out of each heat went on to the feature. Well, they took the top five.

This meant that Shawn started the consi on the pole. Shawn finished 7th and did not qualify for the feature. Again, many other teams let Shawn know that he is doing a very good job for only being his second time on the track in this car.

The team would also like to say “Thank You” to Dwayne for all of his help last evening. The team is hoping that he will decide to come on board as we learn all the new things with a new car.

This weekend Shawn is going to try his luck again in the 600cc micro sprint car at Path Valley on Friday evening. The team is feverishly learning the new car and all the aspects of it. Some new parts have been ordered and some have already been put on the car. Some of the parts and pieces will have to wait until the team can get the items painted and lettered.

The team wants to thank everyone that has offered their assistance over the past few days; Seth, Paul, Timmy, Bore, and everyone who has stopped by to help out the team. There are a lot of people to list.

Last evening Shawn tried his skills in his first ever start in a 600cc micro sprint. Being this was his first time racing a micro at Path Valley, he started last in his heat and finished 9th. He started 9th in his consi and had the front right wheel bearing go out and did not qualify for the feature.

Shawn will again be driving next weekend at a track yet to be determined. We will keep you updated as to where the new 12a micro sprint will be running.

I guess now we have to change the website, so please bear with us! This will now become a 600 Micro Sprint website for both Shawn and Xzander.

Well, an end of an era has possibly come. Last evening Shawn was in a pretty bad mood. In the makeup feature he ran the 12x. He started 21st and finished 11th. In the evenings regular scheduled event Xzander and Shawn had to run the Consi. Shawn made it to the feature through the Consi, but Xzander did not. Shawn started 23rd and was moving through the pack when it happened. Shawn and his 12a car took a serious hit and crashed into the turn one and two wall. The entire right front of the car was pretty much destroyed. Shawn was not injured in the accident as we were all a little nervous. He was credited with 23rd finishing spot.

With the large amount of damage on the 12a, Shawn has decided to fix the car to showroom quality and possibly sell the car. Xzanders next event in the 12x is scheduled for Saturday, June 14, at Trailway Speedway in Hanover, PA.

We will keep you posted throughout the week as to what the team is doing and how they ar making out with the car.

The teams plans have been decided for the weekend. It has been decided that we will not be racing at Path Valley Speedway Park on Friday evening. Instead, we will have both cars on display at one of our supporters stores. We will have both the 12a and the 12x at Turkey Hill Minit Market in West York, PA on Friday from 1:00 PM until at least 5:00 PM. This is also in conjuction with the Northeast Street Rod Nationals being held in York, PA this weekend. Please feel free to stop by and visit.

This brings the team to racing Saturday evening at Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, PA. Shawn will be racing the 12x in the makeup feature that was rained out back in April. He then will jump into the 12a to run the rest of the evenings events for the Legends. Xzander will also jump back into the 12x for the rest of the evenings events.
