Sabko, Inc. Racing would like to take this time to welcome two new drivers to our team, Xzander Edwards and Matt Miller. They will both be sharing the driving duties of the Sabko, Inc. Racing 12x INEX Legends car. The original first year body is making a comeback for the 12x car. We are hoping to have this car race ready by mid March.
Our sponsors this year are Sabko, Inc. General Services and Hawkins Collision Center. We are currently working on sponsorship packages with other businesses in our area. As we all know, our economy has put a burden on all of us, and without the sponsorships, we can not continue to do what we all love to do. I am sure many of you have seen and heard about numerous deals in the NASCAR world that just have not worked out for a lot of teams this season. The deals we put together at Sabko, Inc. Racing are based on what each sponsor is looking at getting as far as advertisements. If you know of anyone who may be interested in getting involved with racing on a local level, we would be happy to discuss any possibilities.
Currently the 12a car is scheduled to race 37 races right here in South Central Pennsylvania this year alone. This does not include any races where we may travel out of our series that we run with weekly, to race other tracks in New York State and possibly even North Carolina. The 12x car is scheduled to have Xzander racing a minimum of 6 races at Susquehanna Speedway Park. We are still working with Matt’s schedule as he also races 358 Limited Sprints and 410 Super Sprint cars.
All of us at Sabko, Inc. Racing are very excited and looking very forward to our 2008 season. We hope that our new website, as well as our MySpace account, and e-mails of people on our “mailing” list will keep everyone informed as to what our team is doing, where we will be racing, and results from the weekend’s races for both cars will keep you all up to date.
As a reminder, we will be attending MotoRama, being held at the Harrisburg Farm Show Complex this weekend, February 16th & 17th. As of this point in time, we are planning on the 12a car’s first race to be March 22, 2008 at Lincoln Speedway in Hanover, PA. The 12x schedule is still in the air as of right now. As soon as we know when the 12x will make a debut, we will be sure to let everyone know.
